Educational
Activities 2005
Course in Homeopathic Medicine:
This theoretical-practical course focuses especially on the development
of the skills necessary to solve the complex problems that the homeopathic
practitioner has to face in his everyday practice. The purpose of this
course is to establish solid bases and a profound understanding of the
philosophy and principles underlying homeopathy and, at the same time,
to give proper training in the different aspects of homeopathy such
as interpretation of symptoms, Materia Medica, and inclusion in the
repertory, among others, with emphasis on their practical application.
These are the main features of this course:
(I) Upon attending the third year of the Course, our students start
our Senior Course for the Continuing Training in Homeopathic
Medicine, which enables them to acquire unique experience and
knowledge of high academic level due to the consistent exchange and
advice received from long-time practising, highly experienced homeopathic
practitioners.
(II) Extensive practice in the treatment of patients.
Our students take part in the treatment of an average of thirty medical
cases each month in their first year. In their second year, our students
take part in an average of fifty medical cases each month in our "Solidary
Surgeries", where, along with our lecturers, they have the opportunity
to give treatment to the Foundation's patients, thus acquiring invaluable
and irreplaceable expertise with a view to their own professional careers.
(III) Optional participation in our "Argentine Pathogenesis
Programme" (experiments on healthy volunteers) under the supervision
of Dr. Carlos N. Cámpora's team.
(IV) Internships in foreign institutions for third-year students with
the best marks. Length of the Course Three years, with a total number
of 1200 hours.
This course is divided into two stages: 1) the first two years (regular
course), and 2) the third year, in which our students join our Senior
Course for the Continuing Training in Homeopathic Medicine.

VIºContinuing
Education Senior Course in Homeopathic Medicine of the Homeopathic Medical
Foundation Vitalis (contents
in English available)
This theoretical-practical
course is given in nine (9) independent annual seminars, whose contents
vary every year and allow continuous training and increasing improvement
of homeopath physicians. This course is given by Dr. Carlos N. Cámpora,
along with a prestigious group of professionals specially invited to
this end.
Length of the course: One year, with an aggregate of
100 hours of theoretical training, and practice in the Educational Offices
in accordance with each attending professional’s possibilities.
Structure of the course:
Theoretical training: 9 monthly, consecutive, 1-weekend
seminars, from April to December 2005, every Friday, from 6 p.m. to
9 p.m., and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Each seminar includes participation to Clinical Case Debates with videotapes.
Practical training: in our Educational Offices.
Beginning:
Friday, April 8, 2005 . |
Requirements: to be a graduated
homeopathic physician or veterinary.
Remark:
Attendance to different seminars upon choice of each professional
is allowed with no need to take part of the complete course. |
Attendance required: to obtain
the course’s certification and diploma, 80% of the classes.
Final exam: Optional,
written, to be held on December 16, 2005.
Purposes of the Course
(a) Homeopathic philosophy and practice:
to reflect on and discuss in detail controversial topics which are often
difficult to understand or apply, and yet of crucial clinical interest.
(b) Materia Medica: to ascertain and learn
about the remedies presented in class, many of them unknown due to lack
of knowledge of their existence. This purpose is implemented by the
proper understanding of their Pure, Clinical and Toxicological Materia
Medica, which leads to an overall new perception of the remedies under
scrutiny. Additionally, special emphasis is placed on teaching the most
featured symptoms, as well as those clinical directions not normally
known and/or which may be missing in the repertory.
(c) Study of the Repertory: to fully develop
dexterity in the use of the different repertories and to imbibe students
with proper knowledge thereof; also, to clarify the meaning of the different
rubrics, the usefulness of related rubrics and valid additions, and
the comparison among them.
(d) Updates: these symposia are aimed at
updating the knowledge of specific clinical topics which are frequently
found in the patients coming to our practice; we also perform a detailed
analysis of the homeopathic approach to the topics under study in these
updates, an analysis of the repertory applicable to them, the most suitable
remedies to be used in them and their most peculiar symptoms, specially
highlighting the remedies which are not usually prescribed because they
are virtually unknown.
e) Pathogenetic Research: to take part
in the results and experience obtained with the performance of the first
four pathogenesis with the Double Protocol of Pure Experimentation in
Argentina. Although participation in the new pathogenesis is voluntary
and optional, the knowledge gained by the attending physicians is unique
and essential to understand from their own experience and directly from
the source the process by which symptoms develop and sick people get
healed thanks to homeopathy.
f) Clinical Debates: difficult and enlightening
cases are presented with the purpose of debating their clinical approach,
the homeopathic strategy to be applied, as well as the choice, hierarchy,
treatment and evolution of symptoms.
